About Forlæns

Portrait photo of Tobias Christian Jensen, a man in his mid-thirties. He has a beard and brown, slightly unruly hair brushed back—according to his mother, he needs a haircut. He wears round glasses and a light blue shirt. His smile is friendly and slightly reserved, like a modern Mona Lisa of the software industry, if she could grow stubble.

National accessibility expert

Forlæns is me—Tobias Nyhuus Jensen—and my take on a modern, helpful, and down-to-earth approach to web development.

After many years in the agency world and the software industry, I missed having a place where the road from idea to action was short. Where you could help small and medium-sized businesses directly—without long processes or unintelligible technical jargon.

I’m also appointed as Denmark’s national expert in accessibility for the EU Commission’s AccessibleEU initiative, which ensures that my advice follows the latest standards and best practices.

Forlæns is about moving forward the right way. Building user-friendly, accessible, and durable websites that both users and owners can appreciate.

Accessibility means everyone can participate—including people with, for example, visual impairments, mobility challenges, or reading difficulties. Forlæns helps remove digital barriers, so your website works for as many as possible—regardless of age, ability, or device.

In short, I believe in quality craftsmanship, honest advice, and solutions that don’t need maintenance every week.

The name Forlæns is chosen on purpose. It’s about taking steps in the right direction—small improvements that make a big difference.
